قدّم مستشار خادم الحرمين الشريفين الأمير مشعل بن ماجد بن عبدالعزيز، وعدد من المسؤولين والأعيان والإعلاميين، تعازيهم ومواساتهم إلى آل قطان في وفاة مدير عام مؤسسة «عكاظ» للصحافة والنشر السابق الفقيد وليد بن جميل بن محمد علي قطان، الذي انتقل إلى رحمة الله تعالى يوم (الجمعة) الماضية.
وقد أُديت الصلاة على الفقيد فجر يوم السبت الماضي في المسجد النبوي الشريف، ووُوري جثمانه الثرى في مقابر بقيع الغرقد بالمدينة المنورة.
والفقيد والد كلٍّ من: وسام، ومهند، ورنا، ودانة، وزوج عزة عدنان عبيد مدني، وشقيق كلٍّ من: محمد، وآمال، وفهد، وخالد، وإياد جميل قطان.
يذكر أن اليوم (الإثنين) آخر أيام العزاء في منزل الأسرة بحي المرجان.
The advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Mishal bin Majid bin Abdulaziz, along with a number of officials, dignitaries, and media representatives, offered their condolences and sympathies to the Al-Qattan family on the passing of the late Walid bin Jamil bin Muhammad Ali Qattan, the former Director General of the “Okaz” Foundation for Press and Publishing, who passed away last (Friday).
The funeral prayer for the deceased was performed at dawn last Saturday in the Prophet’s Mosque, and his body was laid to rest in the Baqi’ al-Gharqad cemetery in Medina.
The deceased is the father of: Wisam, Muhannad, Rana, and Dana, and the husband of Izzah Adnan Ubaid Madani, and the brother of: Muhammad, Amal, Fahd, Khalid, and Iyad Jamil Qattan.
It is worth mentioning that today (Monday) is the last day of mourning at the family home in the Al-Marjan neighborhood.
